
Candice Gray-Bernard is a civil engineer with over 16 years of experience within the public sector of Trinidad and Tobago delivering projects in the fields of water resources, drainage, flood management and coastal engineering. She is currently managing the Coastal Protection Unit of the Ministry of Works and Transport. Ms. Gray-Bernard has a Global Masters of Business Administration from Imperial College Business School in London, Masters of Science in Water Resources and a Masters of Philosophy in Civil Engineering. She is currently one of four persons in Trinidad and Tobago to hold the Programme Management Professional (PgMP) certification from the Programme Management Institute.
Ms. Gray-Bernard’s projects portfolio include the Construction of a Silt Trap in Perseverance, Maraval, the Manzanilla Beach Facility Seawall Stabilization Works, the Richplain Ravine Flood Mitigation Project, the Mayaro/Guayaguayagauare Coastal Studies and the North Oropouche River Basin Drainage Study
Always up for a challenge, Ms. Gray-Bernard became a UAV (drone) pilot having challenged herself to learn about the technology given its benefits to her personal and professional life. Her other interests include photography, ballroom dancing, blogging and paper craft.
